Center for Black Educator Development Announces Black Teacher Pipeline Project
The Black Teacher Pipeline fosters future Black educators by engaging Black high school and college students as teacher pre-apprentices, sponsoring them through fellowship, apprenticeships, and scholarship, and supporting them with mentorship and professional learning opportunities through their first four years in the classroom. Alice Walton’s philanthropic support builds on her commitment to improve K-12 education, support teachers and eliminate barriers for People of Color who want to become teachers.

Vision for Whole Health Institute looks to inspire and provide a transformative approach to affordable health care. The 75,000 square foot building is expected to break ground in April 2021 and focus on holistic health.
